1984 All Star Game Program (San Francisco)

The game was played in San Francisco’s Candlestick Park, Home of the Giants. The National League won 3-1 with Home Runs by GEORGE BRETT, DALE MURPHY, and GARY CARTER. There were twenty-one total strikeouts (ten in the American League and eleven National League) in this game for a new All-Star record! 19-year old DWIGHT GOODEN became the youngest player in All-Star Game history. Catcher GARY CARTER was named the game’s MVP.
