2008 Official All-Star Game Baseball

The American League beat the National League, 4-3 in 15 innings, the longest All-Star game in history. Boston Red Sox outfielder, J.D. Drew was named the game's Most Valuable Player.

The 2008 All-Star Game was the fourth All-Star Game held at Yankee Stadium since its 1923 opening, joining 1939, 1960 and 1977. It was the eighth time that New York City has hosted the event. 2008 was the final season for this Yankee Stadium. The Yankees will move into "New Yankee Stadium" in the 2009 season.

The ball features two color navy blue and gray stitching to match the logo colors of the host team, New York Yankees. Each baseball is individually tissue wrapped and boxed.
